Instructions:

Mix the sugar (I) with the cinnamon. Brush a gratin dish with the room-warm butter (I) and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar. Coarsely crumble the biscuits.

Quarter the plums and remove the seeds. Boil the sugar (Ii) with the orange juice until syrupy. Add the plums and cook at low temperature for 5-10 minutes. Cool down.

Separate the eggs. Beat the remaining butter and powdered sugar with the whisks of a mixer until creamy. Gradually add the egg yolks. Fold in the curd cheese and lemon zest. Whip the egg whites with the remaining sugar until stiff and fold in the cornflour.

Spread the plums evenly in the gratin dish. Sprinkle the biscuits on top and drizzle with the plum water. Finally, spoon the curd mixture onto the plums. Bake the casserole in the heated oven on the 2nd rack from the bottom at 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Dust with a little powdered sugar if desired and serve on the spot.

Round brown gratin dish, curd mass covers plums completely, baking time about 35-40 min.

Mass sufficient for 4 people as a dessert.

Very tasty!
