For the plum crumble, wash and pit the plums.

Cut into small pieces and place in a baking dish. Mix with 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and rum.

Rub flour, sugar, butter and remaining cinnamon well between hands and knead. Crumble the dough mixture over the plums.

Bake in the oven at 180 °C for about 45 minutes. The still warm crumble can be served with vanilla ice cream, or whipped cream.

If half of the flour is replaced with grated almonds or other nuts, the plum crumble tastes even better.
