Cream curd cheese with butter, egg yolks and sugar. Sprinkle with flour, knead and let the dough rest for half an hour. Rinse and dry the plums and remove the seeds. Roll each liter tablespoon of dough in a small amount of flour and flatten. Place a plum on each piece of dough and form into a dumpling. Make plenty of salted water bubbling in a large saucepan, pour in half of the dumplings and cook over medium gas flame. When the dumplings float to the top they are done. Heat butter, toast breadcrumbs in it until golden brown, mix with sugar and roll the dumplings in it. Serve immediately warm.
