Preheat oven to 160 °C (top and bottom heat). Coat baking tray with Kronenöl Spezial with fine butter flavor.

Cut plums in half, remove pit and mix with cinnamon.

Sift flour. Separate eggs.

Beat egg yolks and half of powdered sugar with salt, vanilla sugar and grated lemon peel until foamy (at least 10 minutes). Slowly pour in Kronenöl Spezial with fine butter flavor and continue beating for 1 minute.

Beat egg whites well and beat with remaining powdered sugar until creamy. Gently fold the snow into the mixture, add flour and rum and spread on the baking tray to a thickness of approx. 1 cm.

Place the plum halves closely together on the spread mixture and bake in the oven on the middle shelf for about 30 minutes.

Remove the plum patch from the oven and let cool. Cut open and sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
