Instructions:

Put the flour in a bowl and make a pit in the flour. Heat all the sugar, butter and the 1/4 l of milk and let it cool down a bit.

Pour 1/8 l of this warm liquid into the flour pit, crumble in the yeast and dust with flour. Let rest for 20 minutes.

Stir and add the rest of the liquid and knead. Let rest for 30 minutes.

For the filling, heat water, sugar, honey until sugar dissolves. Mix nuts, rum, vanilla sugar, crumbs and cocoa with liquid. The filling should be nice and creamy, add a little more water if necessary.

Roll out dough and spread filling all over. Roll up and place balls in a greased pan. Prick with fork and brush with milk. Let rise for 30 minutes before baking.

Bake the poppy seed ball at 160 degrees hot air for about 45 minutes.
