For the potato chips, cut potatoes into 3 mm thick slices. Wash, dry and fry in oil at 180 degrees Celsius until golden yellow in color (about 6 min). During this process, move the potatoes from time to time so that they do not stick together.

As soon as they come to the surface, remove them from the fat.

Now put them in a second pot with hot fat, which is 190 degrees Celsius. The potato chips should “puff up” a bit in it.

Season the finished potato chips with salt as needed.
