For the potato dumplings, peel the raw potatoes and grate them through a fine grater into the water. Then squeeze the grated potatoes and mix with the remaining ingredients to form a dough.

Add the settled starch in the water to the dough as well and mix it in. If necessary, add some more semolina, form dumplings with wet hands and let them steep in lightly boiling salted water.

When the dumplings float on the surface after about 20 minutes, they are ready. From this quantity I got out 20 small dumplings.
