For the potato goulash, finely chop the onion and garlic, peel the potato, wash it and cut it into small pieces, peel the skin off the sausages and cut them into small pieces as well.

Fry the onion in a little fat until golden, then add the chopped garlic and fry briefly. Then stir in the tomato paste and fry a little.

Stir in the paprika powder, marjoram and caraway seeds. Add the potato and the sausages, stir well and pour in water.

Crumble the soup cube and add it as well. Now let the goulash simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally and adding water if necessary.

Only at the end season with salt and pepper. Dissolve the starch in a little water with some paprika powder and stir into the goulash and bring to the boil again.
