A delicious mushroom dish for any occasion!

Put butter in a frying pan and heat. Sauté shallots and mushrooms in it, add cream and milk and let it boil. Add the peeled and sliced potatoes and cook for 10 to 15 minutes on low heat.

Rub the casserole dish well with the garlic clove and brush it with a little bit of butter. Pour all the potato mixture into the dish and smooth everything down. Sprinkle cheese on top and press a tiny bit smooth, spread a few flakes of butter evenly on top. Place in the heated oven and bake at 160 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
