Heat the oil in an ovenproof dish. Fry the finely diced onions together with the minced meat. Season with a little oregano, salt, paprika and garlic powder. Pour the water, let it boil and add the clear meat soup and let it melt. Cut the peeled potatoes into slices, put them on top of the minced meat in the dish and season with salt and pepper.

Cook in the oven at 200 degrees (gas mark 3) for 30 minutes with the lid closed.

Cut the cheese into strips and place over the potatoes in a grid pattern. Bake everything together in the open oven for about 15 minutes until the cheese has taken on color.

If you like, you can pour boiling water over 4 tomatoes, rinse and skin them, cut them into slices and put them on top of the potatoes. Now, as above, place the cheese in a grid-like pattern over the tomatoes and bake.

Bean pods are suitable as an additional dish.
