Instructions:

First peel the potatoes and boil until soft. Then press the potatoes through a potato press.

Mix butter, semolina, flour, yolk with the potato mixture to a potato dough. Chill the dough for about 30 minutes.

For the filling, squeeze the lemon and grate the peel. Mix the lemon juice, lemon zest, honey, Powidl and cinnamon together well.

Roll out the potato dough on a floured work surface to about 0.5 cm thick. Cut out circles with a diameter of approx. 5 cm from the dough.

Put 1 teaspoon of powidl filling on one piece of dough and cover with the second piece of dough. Press the corners of the dough pieces together.

Simmer the Powidl Tascherl in boiling water for about 15 minutes. They are ready when they float on the surface.

Serve the Powidl Tascherl with breadcrumbs as desired.
