Instructions:

For the prince cake, beat egg whites until stiff. Beat the egg yolks, butter and powdered sugar until fluffy. Mix in the melted chocolate, grated nuts and rum.

Mix in the beaten egg whites and pour into a greased springform pan. Bake at 175 degrees for about 40 minutes. Let the cake cool and hollow out the center.

There should be about 3 cm left at the edge and about 1/2 cm left at the bottom. Put the black currant jam into the hole. Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar until stiff and spread on the jam – decorate with grated chocolate.

The rest of the dough is for tasting and snacking ahead of time.
