For the pumpkin stew, peel the pumpkin, remove the seeds and cut into cubes. Heat the oil in a saucepan, fry the onion until light yellow, add the pumpkin cubes and fry briefly.

Pour in a little water, add soup seasoning. Cook until soft, stir in cream cheese, dust with flour.

Cut the frankfurters into rings and add to the pumpkin. Taste and season with salt and pepper if necessary.
