For the pumpkin tart, cut the pumpkin flesh into cubes and cook with very little water to make a puree. Boil down the puree while stirring until a drawn line remains visible in the puree.

For the pastry, grease a tart pan with butter. Knead remaining butter with flour and egg. Roll out dough and line tart pan with it, including the rim, trim edge. Keep dough scraps from the edge for decoration.

Mix condensed milk with sugar and eggs, stir in cooled pumpkin puree and the spices and possibly a spoonful of cornstarch. Pour filling into tart pan, bake at 160 degrees hot air for about 1 hr until filling is set.

About halfway through the baking time, when the filling already has a firm skin, put the pumpkin (or other decoration) cut out of the dough.
