For the quick bruschette, cut the baguette into thin slices. Now wash the tomatoes, cut into quarters and remove the watery inside. Cut the flesh into strips and cut them into small cubes.

In a bowl, salt and pepper the tomato cubes, sprinkle with garlic and add a few teaspoons of oil (about 3-4) and the grated basil. Mix everything well. Then add sugar to taste. (Depending on how much sweetness the tomatoes have).

Place the baguette slices on top and drizzle each slice with a little olive oil and heap some of the tomato pieces on top. Decorate with a few leaves of basil.
