Radicchio Iceberg Salad with Buttermilk Dressing

Instructions:

Remove the outer leaves from the lettuce heads. Cut the heads of lettuce diagonally into pieces and remove the stalk. Rinse the leaf lettuce and drain well.

Alternate iceberg lettuce and radicchio cuts in a glass bowl, dividing evenly, tops down.

Whisk together buttermilk, orange juice, a little olive oil (doesn’t have to be, works without olive oil), and salt and pepper until creamy. Rinse the dill, shake dry, chop finely and fold in.

Add the dressing to the leaf salad.

Tip: The leaf salad goes well with grilled steaks or schnitzel skewers.
