For raisin biscuits, wash raisins and soak briefly in rum.

Stir sugar and butter until thick and creamy. Mix lemon zest, flour, egg yolks, baking powder, milk, almond slivers, the soaked raisins and candied lemon peel to a dough.

Place baking paper on a baking tray and preheat the oven to 180° C.

Place small mounds of dough with 2 teaspoons on the baking paper and bake the raisin biscuits for about 15 minutes.
