A cake recipe for all foodies:

Rinse rhubarb, peel if necessary, cut into 3 cm sticks. Blanch in boiling water for 2 min, rinse and drain. Mix with sugar. Preheat oven to 200 °C. For the dough, mix sugar, salt, fat and lemon peel until creamy. Add yolks. Fold in flour and baking powder. Drain rhubarb. Remove peel from apples, core, grate coarsely. Sprinkle with lemon and add to the dough. Whip 3 egg whites until stiff, fold into the batter. Fill the dough into the greased form. Spread rhubarb evenly on top and bake in oven (middle rack) for 50 to 60 min (gas: level 3).

Heat the jelly and brush the cake with it. Whip two egg whites with sugar until stiff, put into a piping bag with a nozzle and decorate the cake with large dots. Continue baking until the tops are golden brown.
