Instructions:

A great cake recipe for any occasion:

1. preheat electric kitchen stove to 175 °C. Line a cake springform pan (26 cm Ø) with parchment paper.

2. for the dough, clean the carrots, remove the skin, grate very finely. Squeeze the carrots, pour off the juice. Beat yolks with sugar, lemon zest and juice for 3 minutes until creamy. Fold in grated carrots

3. mix almond kernels, flour and baking powder, fold into carrot mixture. Fill the dough into the pan and bake at 175 degrees (gas: level 2) for 35-40 min. Cool the base and remove from the pan. 4.

For the topping, rinse and clean strawberries, cut in half, cover cake with them. Mix juice and liqueur, cook frosting with it according to package directions. Spread frosting over strawberries. Heat jam, spread on edge of cake. Decorate edge with pistachios.
