For the semolina layer dessert with strawberries, first boil milk, sugar, salt, vanilla pulp and lemon zest in a pot.

Stir in Fini’s Feinstes Ruck-Zuck semolina, pour the semolina porridge into a bowl and allow to cool. Stir from time to time to prevent a skin from forming.

Wash the strawberries (keep about 4 pieces for garnish), cut into quarters and steep with 1 tablespoon granulated sugar and the vanilla bean half. Whip the cream until creamy (reserving 2-3 spoonfuls for garnish). Then fold into the overcooled semolina porridge.

Layer the semolina cream alternately with the strawberry pieces in glasses and garnish the semolina layer dessert with strawberries with whipped cream, halved strawberries and basil leaves.
