For the semolina thaler, first finely chop the onion. Fry in a little oil until translucent and pour 750 ml of vegetable soup. Bring to a boil, stir in the semolina with a whisk, turn down the temperature, simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the egg.

Spread the semolina mixture on a work surface, let it cool down and cut out taler or form dumplings and flatten them, let them cool down.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the semolina dumplings until brown on both sides.
