For the Serbian stew, rinse and dry the meat. Heat lard until very hot. Sear the meat in it. Season with salt and keep warm.

Peel the onions and cut into large cubes. Wash peppers and cut into strips. Sauté both briefly in the roast stock.

Wash green beans, remove strings and cut or break into bite-sized pieces. Peel, stone and quarter tomatoes. Peel the melanzani and cut into slices.

Pre-cook the vegetables in hot soup for 10 minutes. Season with paprika, pepper and salt. Put in the mold with the long grain rice. Put the meat on top.

Close the roasting pan tightly. Place in the preheated oven and braise the Serbian stew at 200° C for 60 minutes (gas stove level 4).
