Cut beef fillet into strips, heat frying fat and quickly sear the meat. Remove from pan and keep warm, finely chop onion and garlic and sauté in butter until translucent. Dust with flour and brown lightly. Deglaze with soup and beer and season with salt, pepper and thyme. Add the meat and steam everything for 20 minutes.
