For the spaghetti with tomato zucchini sauce, cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Cut onion into small cubes, zucchini into small cubes.

Heat oil in a pot and fry onion in it. Add zucchini and fry for about 2 minutes until golden brown all over. Mix in tomatoes, add sugar, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper and let thicken slightly on low heat for about 10 minutes.

Chop basil. Mix spaghetti with tomato zucchini sauce and serve sprinkled with basil.
