For the spicy tofu bean goulash, soak the beans overnight and cook until soft, about 1-2 hours, depending on the variety and size. (Alternatively, you can use jarred or canned beans).

Peel the onion and garlic. Wash the bell bell pepper, remove the stalk and seeds and cut into small rings. Cut the tofu into small cubes. Fry onion and garlic in oil, add bell bell pepper and continue to fry briefly.

Add pepper, tomato paste and sugar and pour vegetable soup. Add bay leaf and savory and simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes until vegetables are soft. Add softened beans and cook everything a little more.

Finally, add the tofu, remove the bay leaf and savory sprig, season with Tabasco, vinegar and salt and pepper and serve the spicy tofu and bean goulash hot.
