For the spinach casserole, boil potatoes for about 20 minutes. Then peel and cut into slices. Select spinach, wash, drain well.

Sauté onion cubes in hot fat until translucent. Add garlic and spinach, also sauté briefly. Season.

Layer potatoes, spinach and ham strips in a greased ovenproof dish. Mix sour milk and eggs. Season, pour on top. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 175 degrees for about half an hour.
