Instructions:

Mix egg yolks with sugar and water until fluffy (for about 5 minutes).

Mix flour with baking powder and slowly fold into the egg yolk-sugar mixture, but do not overmix or it will be too dry and eventually lumpy.

Beat egg whites until stiff and gently fold into the egg yolk mixture.

Mix one third of the batter with sifted cocoa powder.

Butter a pan, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and alternately fill in light and dark dough.

Bake at 170 °C (for a loaf pan) or 180 °C (for a loaf pan).

Cookie marble cake for about half an hour, then turn out of the mold and let cool.
