Instructions:

Cut one side of the sandwich bread and carefully hollow out. It is best to hollow out by hand, but be careful not to make the “walls” too thin. Set the inside aside, it will be used later.

Cut the extra sausage, gherkins and boiled eggs into small cubes. Coarsely grate the cheese. Make a roux and let cool briefly. Mix all ingredients with the roux, season and taste.

Finely tear the inside of the sandwich and mix in as well. Press the filling into the sandwich bun and allow to cool thoroughly.

Cut the stuffed hunter’s bun into slices and serve.
