Pasta dishes are always a good idea!

Put the flour in a suitable bowl, make a bulge in the middle, beat the eggs into it. While adding the cold water, stir and whisk the dough with a spoon until it bubbles. Pour the spaetzle dough into 2-3 liters of boiling water, either in thin strips with a spaetzle scraper, or quickly scrape the dough from the moistened spaetzle board with a larger kitchen knife, or press the dough through the spaetzle machine. Add small portions at a time to the water. Make spatulas briefly until they float to the top, lift out with a slotted spoon, drain.
