For the sweet polenta, boil the polenta with the milk and a tablespoon of sugar and simmer until most of the milk has evaporated and a paste is formed.

Separate the egg and beat the egg white with the powdered sugar until stiff and glossy. Quickly stir the yolk into the polenta while it is still warm.

Cut the apple into small cubes and fold them into the polenta. Pour the polenta into ovenproof ramekins and spread the beaten egg whites on top.

Bake the sweet polenta at 150 °C for 20 minutes.
