For the sweet potato soup with bacon sticks, first peel the carrots and sweet potatoes, cut both into small cubes. Finely dice the onion and garlic.

Heat olive oil in a pot and sauté sweet potatoes, carrots, onion and garlic. Add soy sauce and soup, then simmer for about 20 to 25 minutes.

Now add whipping cream to the soup, then boil once and season with salt and pepper. Puree everything.

For the bacon sticks, cut the toast into narrow strips (1 – 2 cm) and wrap with the bacon and fry in the preheated oven at 200 degrees until crispy.

Serve the sweet potato soup with bacon sticks sprinkled with cress.
