Instructions:

For the sweet turnips, peel the turnips and cut into cubes.

Boil in a pot of salted water for about 10 minutes.

Strain the beets and rinse with cold water.

In a pan, heat the olive oil and add the sugar. While stirring, melt the sugar and let it brown (caramelize).

Add the diced beets to the caramel and stir through. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Pour in the soup and cook the sweet turnips until tender.
