Tart with Curd and Spinach

Instructions:

Knead the ingredients for the dough together, perhaps put to cool, then spread the greased form with it. (tart pan approx. 26 cm ø).

Clean and rinse the spinach or defrost it. Peel the onions, cut them in half and slice lengthwise. Sauté onions in fat for 5 minutes, add spinach, cover and cook for 8-10 minutes, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg, drain in a sieve. Cut ham coarsely into cubes, mix curd cheese with eggs, season heartily with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Spread curd mixture on the dough base, then spread spinach and finally ham evenly on top. Bake at 200 °C for about half an hour.

Our tip: Use the young, tender spinach from the farmers’ market!
