Instructions:

Boil the espresso, mix with the alcohol and let cool.

Whip the sugar and egg yolks until the sugar has completely dissolved. Cut the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape the pulp into the cream with a pointed kitchen knife. Stir in the mascarpone by the spoonful.

Briefly soak half of the biscuits in the espresso mixture and line a large rectangular baking dish with them. Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the top and smooth it out.

Again, top with the remaining soaked biscotti and cover with the remaining mascarpone cream.

Smooth the surface, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate the tiramisu for a few hours.

Before serving, sprinkle densely with sifted cocoa.
