For the vanilla pepper, cut open the vanilla pod, scrape out the pulp, put it in the jar, cut the pod into small pieces, also put it in the jar.

Now add the pepper and close the jar. Leave to infuse for at least 3- 4 weeks, shaking occasionally. Then fill into a pepper mill.
