For the mushroom-onion pasta, clean mushrooms and cut into slices about 1 cm thick. Peel the onions, halve and cut into thin slices.

Mix water with almond paste with a blender, season with salt and pepper. Peel the garlic. Fry the mushrooms in a pan with hot olive oil, after 4-5 minutes add the onions and continue frying for 1 minute.

Now press the garlic through a press into the pan. Fry for 2 minutes. Then pour the water-almond paste mixture into the pan, bring to a boil 1 time and then simmer gently on the lowest setting.

Cook the pasta according to package directions, drain and also add to the pan, mix well with the sauce. Wash the basil, cut into strips and arrange with the pasta.
