Briefly roast shredded wheat in a frying pan without fat. Remove peel from carrots and celery and grate with shredder. Cut the onion into very fine cubes. Add the roasted wheat, egg and wholemeal flour to the vegetables form, swell in about half an hour. Add corn kernels and grated cheese, season with bell pepper, salt, paprika and chopped parsley.

Form 8 flat patties from the dough, fry them in hot fat on both sides for about 5 minutes on 2 or automatic cooking plate 7-9.

Serve with a spicy sauce and steamed lettuce or vegetables.
