For the vegetarian bean burger, drain the beans and drain well. Clean the mushrooms and chop finely. Wash the lettuce and drain well.

Put the beans in a bowl with the mushrooms, garlic, oatmeal, egg, cumin, salt and pepper and blend everything with a blender until smooth. Shape into 6 loaves and brush with canola oil.

Grill or pan fry for 3-4 minutes on each side. Briefly toast the burger buns on the cut side.

Slice the tomato. Place the patties on the bun, top with mustard and ketchup and garnish with lettuce and tomato. Serve the vegetarian bean burger.
