For the wine cabbage, first shave and wash the cabbage. Marinate with salt, pepper and cumin. Leave to marinate for at least 2 hours. Finely chop the onion.

Caramelize some sugar in oil and fry the onion in it. Add the cabbage and roast until it browns slightly. Then deglaze with white wine and add some more water if necessary.

Stew until soft.
