For the Whiskey Grapefruit Aperol Thyme Bowl, peel the grapefruits and cut into small cubes.

Boil the grapefruit juice together with the sugar and the thyme sprigs once until the sugar has dissolved. Let the juice cool down and empty it through a sieve.

Mix the cooled juice with whiskey, Aperol and the thyme leaves, add the grapefruit pieces and a few ice cubes and pour on the mineral water. Serve the whiskey-grapefruit-Aperol-thyme punch immediately.
