Instructions:

Meat rub well with salt, pepper and game spice mixture and cook for half an hour with the lid closed. Next, fry in heated oil until quickly browned on all sides. Remove and cool. In the same frying pan

fry finely chopped bacon, finely diced onion and finely chopped mushrooms until soft and cool. Next, mix with double cream and herbs and season to taste.

Fold thawed puff pastry slices overlapping into a rectangle and roll out a tiny bit. Place meat in the center and top with the farce. Brush edges of dough with egg white, fold over meat and press firmly. Place on the baking tray with the seam facing down, brush with egg yolk and bake in a heated oven at 180 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. Towards the end of the cooking time, perhaps cover with aluminum foil.

Our tip: Use a deliciously spicy bacon for a delicious touch!
