The liver is skinned and put through the machine with the cooked pork.
It is mixed with the milk-softened bread, eggs, chopped parsley, lemon peel, onions and capers and seasoned sufficiently with salt and pepper, a few chopped mushrooms taste exceptionally fine underneath.
Now everything is put together in a loaf pan lined with parchment paper and bacon, with bacon and paper closed and baked leisurely for 1 hour in the stove or cooked in a water bath.
When cool, the pie is turned out and cut into slices.
