For the wild garlic soup, wash the wild garlic and cut into strips. Peel the potatoes, grate coarsely and add to the wild garlic in a pot.

Cover with the vegetable soup and bring to a boil, then simmer very gently for about 10 to 15 minutes and finely puree the whole thing. If the soup is too thin, you can thicken it a bit with cornstarch if necessary.

Season to taste with cream, salt and pepper, then sprinkle with grated smoked cheese and serve garnished with cress.
