For the woodruff pineapple punch, peel the pineapple, remove the woody interior and cut the flesh into pieces. Wash the strawberries, remove the stalks and cut them into pieces as well.

Place the fruit pieces in a bowl with the woodruff, white wine and Campari and leave to infuse in a cool place for at least 30 minutes.

Just before serving, top up the woodruff pineapple punch with sparkling wine.
