Instructions:

For Yonashi to Kyuri, toast sesame seeds in a pan without oil. Caution burns quickly! Then grind the sesame seeds in a mortar. Add soy sauce and sugar.

Peel the pear, remove the core and cut it into longitudinal wedges. Put them into cold salted water for about 3 minutes. Cut cucumber in half lengthwise and scrape out seeds. Cut into slices.

Dry pears and cucumbers and put them together in a bowl and mix with sesame sauce. Add a little more salt if necessary.
