Pasta dishes are just always delicious!

In a large saucepan, bring plenty of water to a boil. Add glass noodles, pull until soft (15 min). Drain, cut into 5 cm long pieces with scissors. Place in a large enough bowl.

In a soup pot, bring the clear soup to a boil with garlic, ginger, onions, fish sauce, star anise and cloves. Gently simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes. Pour through a sieve into another saucepan. Discard strainer contents. bubble clear soup. Remove from heat, add steak strips to saucepan and cook until done.

Arrange spring onion, lettuce, noodles and lemon wedges in bowls on table. Place hot soup in a tureen in the center. Everyone now takes noodles, ladles clear soup and meat over it and garnishes with lettuce, spring onion and taste with lemon if desired.
